Here is an example of god moding.

Dogflash leapt at the helpless she-cat and tore at her until she bled all over. He dodged all of her blows and when she tried to scratch him leapt out of the ay easily. Sinking his sharp fangs into Silverheart's neck, Dogflash killed her straight away.

The person playing 'Dogflash' is god moding. This means making your character invincible.

Acceptable
Dogflash leapt at the she-cat and attempted to scratch at her belly. Making his mark, he scratched fiercely then withdrew his talon-like claws. He dodged a blow, stumbled, then was caught off guard by a scratch to the head. Stars flashed before Dogflash's eyes.

Here is an example of power-playing:

Skymask watched Foxtooth leap at her. Dodging, she hissed in the face of the ginger tomcat.
Foxtooth hissed and leapt on top of Skymask, pinning her. Skymask howled in pain as Foxtooth easily overpowered her. The she-cat struggled against the stronger warrior's grip, and cried: "Mercy!"

This is power-playing. The person playing 'Foxtooth' was acting the other person's character, 'Skymask'.

Acceptable
Skymask watched Foxtooth leap at her. Dodging, she hissed in the face of the ginger tomcat.
Foxtooth hissed and pounced on Skymask, pinning her down. He wondered if she would struggle. He was lder and more experiencd; would she bother?

2. Be polite to other members and respectful to administrators. Never insult other members and if you really have to say something like that, do it through PM. If you are getting bullied by another member/admin, PM me or another administrator and we will sort it out.

3. No chat speak. Please be literate, or at least semi-literate. You can use Chat Speak in the C-Box, but nowhere else. If you do not know what Chat Speak is, here is an example:

Acceptable
Hi Starheart, how are you? I saw you today at the shopping mall! Hope to see you soon!

4. Try not to do any one-lined posts. I know sometimes it is hard to think of anything but please try your best.

5. No wings, powers, strange colours, etc. I only accept jewellery and small items of clothing (bandannas) on loners. The only wings acception are Guardian Cats, who are cats who have died. They choose to be like a Guardian Angel to a cat which they cared about.
Note - Guardian cats cannot come down to earth, but they can come to their chosen cat in dreams and send them their thoughts occasionally.

6. You are allowed up to twenty characters but you must be active with all of them! If you are extremely active and would like another character, PM me.

7. If you are a leader, you can choose your deputy and medicine cat, but it must be done through auditions. You must do your depyty first, then your medicine cat.
For members wishing to audition, post the biography in the audition board, not the sign-up board, or it will be deleted. Members are allowed two high positions, but ne member cannot be the leader of one Clan and the deputy of another. Deputy and medicine, cat or leader and medicine cat are acceptable. If you already have two high positions, do not ask to be medicine cat apprentice, also do not make characters to be medicine cat apprentices, grow the character fro a kit so that the medicine cat can see their personality from birth.
